Scope

This standard specifies the definition, marking, testing, and requirements of preset power controllers for high-pressure sodium lamps.
This standard applies to controllers for preset power inductive ballasts for high-pressure sodium lamps that do not replace high-pressure sodium lamps to change the lamp power, and operate on AC power sources of 50 Hz or 60 Hz and below 1,000 V.
This standard should be used in conjunction with GB 19510.1 and GB/T 19510.12. The high-pressure sodium lamps applicable to the controllers in this standard shall comply with the requirements of GB/T 13259, and the preset power inductive ballasts shall comply with the requirements of QB/T 2941—2008.
