GB/T 5758-2023 Determination for particle size,effective size and uniformity coefficient of ion exchange resins

Scope

This document describes the determination methods for the particle size range, upper limit particle size, lower limit particle size, effective particle diameter, average particle diameter, and uniformity coefficient of ion exchange resins. The wet sieving method in Method 1 is suitable for determining the particle size range, upper limit particle size, lower limit particle size, effective particle diameter, average particle diameter, and uniformity coefficient of spherical ion exchange resins with a wet true density greater than 1 g/mL; the dry sieving method is suitable for determining the particle size range, upper limit particle size, and lower limit particle size of spherical ion exchange resins with a wet true density less than or equal to 1 g/mL. Method 2 is suitable for determining the particle size range, upper limit particle size, lower limit particle size, effective particle diameter, average particle diameter, and uniformity coefficient of powdered or granular ion exchange resins with a particle size range of 0.1 μm to 3,000 μm.
