Cultivation 7.1 Marking and planting rows in tea gardens: Plant rows with a spacing of 1.8 m to 2.0 m. 7.2 Digging planting ditches: The depth and width of planting ditches are 60 cm × 80 cm. 7.3 Applying base fertilizer: Apply 3,000 to 5,000 kg of composted organic fertilizer and 1,000 kg of phosphorus fertilizer per 666.7 m2, mix it with soil, apply it to the bottom of the ditch, and then cover it with 3 cm to 5 cm of soil. 7.4 Planting 7.4.1 Planting time: Spring planting is between Start of Cold and Awakening of Insects; autumn planting is between Frost Descent and Start of Winter. It is better to plant after rainy and overcast days. 7.4.2 Planting specifications: The row spacing is about 1.5 m, and the hole spacing is 30 cm to 40 cm, with 2 seedlings per hole. The planting density is 1,000 to 2,000 seedlings per 666.7 m2. 7.4.3 Planting depth: The depth is 5 cm to 10 cm. After planting, gently pull up the tea seedlings to allow their roots to extend naturally. 7.4.4 After planting, compact the soil with feet and cover it with a layer of loose soil.
