Scope

This standard specifies the graphic symbols for the controls, indicators, and signaling devices of motorcycles and mopeds, as well as the colors of light signaling devices.
This standard applies to those controls installed on the dashboard and located close to the drivers of motorcycles and mopeds. However, this does not mean that every control listed in this standard must be used.
This standard applies to motorcycles and mopeds (hereinafter referred to as motorcycles).
