Scope

This document specifies the minimum operational and performance requirements for marine radars, testing methods, and required test results, which shall not be lower than the performance standards adopted by IMO Resolution MSC.192(79).
This document incorporates the performance standards adopted by IMO Resolution MSC.192(79), as well as relevant content from IMO Resolution A.694(17) and the general requirements of IEC 60945. When this document is inconsistent with the requirements of IEC 60945, this document shall prevail.
