Scope

This standard specifies the safety technical requirements for the design, construction, and mining of metal and non-metallic mines, as well as the management and monitoring of occupational hazards and the health surveillance requirements for workers. This standard applies to the design, construction, and mining of metal and non-metallic mines. This standard does not apply to the mining of coal mines, coal-derived pyrite, and other minerals coexisting with coal. This standard also does not apply to the mining of liquid or gaseous mineral resources such as oil, natural gas, and mineral water.
