GB/T 16895.35-2023 Low-voltage electrical installations—Part 8-1:Functional aspects—Energy efficiency

Scope

This document sets forth additional requirements, measures, and recommendations for the design, installation, operation, and inspection of various low-voltage electrical devices, including the use of local power generation and energy storage to optimize the overall efficient use of electrical energy.
This document introduces requirements, recommendations, and methods for evaluating energy efficiency (EE) during the design, installation, and operation of electrical devices within the framework of energy efficiency management systems, in order to achieve the most durable equivalent functionality and the most acceptable balance between power utilization and economic efficiency with the lowest possible energy consumption.
These requirements, recommendations, and methods apply to new devices and the modification of existing devices within the scope of GB/T 16895 (all parts).
This document applies to electrical devices or systems in buildings, but not to products. The energy efficiency of products and their operational requirements are specified in relevant product standards.
If other standards set forth specific requirements for particular systems or devices (such as manufacturing systems covered by ISO 20140 (all parts)), these requirements shall supersede the corresponding content of this document.
This document does not specifically target building automation systems.
This group of energy efficiency publications is primarily used for the energy efficiency standards of low-voltage electrical devices mentioned in Chapter 1, but it is also used by technical committees to prepare standards in accordance with the principles set forth in IEC Guide 119 and IEC Guide 118.
