Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for rectangular and square rock slabs with dimensions ranging from 160 mm × 100 mm to 4,000 mm × 2,500 mm, with accuracy grades of 0, 1, 2, and 3. This standard applies to new, in-use, and repaired rock slabs (hereinafter referred to as "slabs") to their original grades. Note: "Rock" is a common term. The professional term is given in Chapter 3.
