Scope

This document proposes a framework for interpreting the concept of usability and provides various scenarios for applying it to human-interactive systems and other types of systems (including artificial environments), products (including industrial and consumer products), and services (including technical and personal services).
Note: In this document, "target objects" refer to systems, products, or services that require consideration of usability (see 8.1).
