Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for personnel, instruments and equipment, test pieces and coupling agents, detection technology levels, pre-detection technical requirements, detection, detection data analysis and defect determination, detection process verification and system review, and detection reports for ultrasonic phased array detection of ship steel welds (hereinafter referred to as phased array ultrasonic detection).
This standard is applicable to phased array ultrasonic detection of ship steel welds.
