YD/T 4196-2023 Determine the average peak specific absorption rate (SAR) in the human body for wireless communication devices (30MHz-6GHz) using finite element method (FEM) for generic requirements
Basic Information
Scope
This document includes a description of the concepts, techniques, and limitations of the finite element method (FEM), and specifies models and procedures for validating and assessing the uncertainty of FEM when used to determine the spatial peak specific absorption rate (SAR). It also provides recommendations and guidance for modeling wireless communication devices and benchmark data for synthetic SAR in such models and procedures. This document does not recommend specific SAR limits. This document is applicable to mathematical models for determining the spatial average peak specific absorption rate (SAR), and it uses finite element simulations of electromagnetic field conditions generated by wireless communication devices in human anatomical models to determine SAR.
