Scope

This document specifies the design of cable channels for laying 110 (66) kV and 220 kV power cables on bridges and cable trays, the selection of cables and ancillary facilities, the technical requirements for the operation and maintenance of cable systems, and environmental protection. This document is applicable to power cable lines of 110 (66) kV and 220 kV voltage grades laid and operated in public channels such as traffic bridges across rivers and lakes, long-span sea-crossing bridges, and long-distance dedicated cable bridge channels; other power cable lines laid on bridges of other voltage grades shall be implemented with reference to this document.
