Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements for the construction of tobacco warehouses, the storage of tobacco, the preservation of raw tobacco, the storage and preservation of thin-cut tobacco, pest control, and the withdrawal of tobacco from warehouses.
This standard applies to the storage and preservation of raw tobacco, thin-cut tobacco, tobacco stems, and flavored tobacco, as well as other sun-dried tobaccos from flue-cured tobacco and burley tobacco.
