This standard sets out the principles and requirements for the use of management systems in relation to conformity assessment.
This standard applies to the elaboration of the "use of management systems" as a common element in the drafting of conformity assessment standards by the Conformity Assessment Standards Drafting Working Group.
This standard is not intended to be used directly in conformity assessment activities on its own.
