Scope

This standard specifies the conditions to be observed when testing the stability of tower cranes (hereinafter referred to as tower cranes) by calculation. Such tower cranes are defined by ISO 4306-3, and they are prone to tipping and being blown by the wind. It is assumed that the tower cranes are placed on a solid, level support surface or track.
