Scope

This document specifies the terms and definitions, composition, classification, models, basic parameters, technical requirements, safety and environmental protection requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of flame cutters for continuous casting billets. This document is applicable to flame cutters that use industrial gases as the fuel medium for cutting continuous casting billets, which can be configured for cutting billet to length (or to multiple lengths), cutting samples, cutting off the heads and tails of continuous casting billets online, or for cutting short-sized billets, cold billets, and scrap billets offline.
