Scope
This standard specifies the types and dimensions of 1:50 taper pin reamers for straight-shaft machines, as well as their technical requirements. This standard applies to 1:50 taper pin reamers for straight-shaft machines with diameters ranging from 2 mm to 12 mm. Unless otherwise specified, these reamers are designed for right-hand cutting. The chip-retaining grooves can be manufactured as straight grooves or left-hand helical grooves, at the manufacturer's discretion.
