Scope

This standard specifies the control and reuse methods of wastewater discharge from wet zinc smelting enterprises, the selection of wastewater treatment processes and water quality control, the technical requirements for wastewater recycling, wastewater recycling management, and sampling and monitoring.
This standard applies to wet zinc smelting enterprises that adopt smelting processes such as roasting-leaching-electrolytic casting-ingot fumes for acid production or oxygen-enriched direct leaching for zinc smelting. It covers the direct recycling and reuse of wastewater discharged from production workshops, as well as the reclaimed water produced after centralized collection and treatment of wastewater generated by the production system, which is used as secondary water for reuse.
