Scope
本文件规定了用于通信网的室外光缆和光缆元构件的要求。
本文件适用于管道光缆、直埋光缆、架空光缆、过湖和过河的水下光缆、快速/多次布放光缆，以及专门应用于污水管和气体管道光缆，其他相似应用类型的光缆参照使用。
注1：对于安装在架空输电线附近的光缆，需要增加相应的要求和试验方法。
本文件不适用于光纤复合架空地线、光纤复合相线和挂在架空输电线的相线或地线上的光缆。也不适用于带有水下线路放大器的光缆。
注2：对于过湖和过河的水下光缆，本文件未规定光缆的维修方法及维修性能。
