Scope

This standard specifies the test items and contents of mooring and navigation for inland waterway vessels powered by internal combustion engines, as well as the general requirements for test records and reports.
This standard applies to the testing of general projects for new or majorly modified (if applicable) civil inland waterway conventional vessels powered by internal combustion engines (diesel and/or natural gas as fuel). The testing of engineering vessels, air-cushion vessels, hydrofoil vessels, and other special vessels and equipment, as well as vessels with a length of less than 20 m, can refer to the provisions of this standard to prepare test outlines.
