Scope
Scope: This document specifies the definitions of food safety managers, food safety directors, and food safety officers; the relationship between food safety managers and food safety directors and officers; the applicable academic majors for food safety managers, target occupational positions (groups), occupational skill levels, and corresponding job competency requirements, application conditions, and evaluation methods. This document applies to the training, assessment, and evaluation of food safety managers, food safety directors, and other food safety personnel in food production and operation enterprises (including food sales (including food cold chain) and catering services) in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations such as the Food Safety Law of the People's Republic of China. It can also be used as a reference for the training, assessment, and evaluation of food safety managers and directors in other food production and operation enterprises, as well as for teaching and assessment of students majoring in food safety in secondary and higher vocational schools.
