Scope
This standard specifies the test methods for energy non-linearity, peak-to-background ratio, maximum linear counting rate, energy resolution, repeatability, instability, and detection limit of energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometers.
This standard is applicable to the testing of the main performance of tube-excited energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometers. Other energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometers can also be used for reference.
