Scope

This document defines the four main types of plastic reusable boxes (referred to as "plastic boxes"), including upright stacking boxes, folding boxes, nested boxes, and nested stacking boxes. It specifies the basic requirements, safety, identification, marking, and labeling, as well as general requirements such as radio frequency identification (RFID) for these four types of plastic boxes. This document is applicable to loading, unloading, transportation, storage, and display. It also applies to reusable plastic boxes with modular dimensions of 600 mm × 400 mm, 600 mm × 500 mm, and 550 mm × 366 mm, and their use in recyclable transportation systems.
