Scope
This part of GB/T 8923 specifies the treatment grades for surface defects on the welds, edges, and other areas of steel. These defects may exist and be visible before and after jet cleaning.
The treatment grades specified in this part apply to defective steel surfaces, including welded surfaces, which should undergo surface treatment before being coated with paint.
