This procedure also applies to the initial verification, subsequent verification, and in-use testing of digital electroencephalographs and electroencephalographic mapping systems that use an electroencephalograph as a preamplifier. For such equipment under inspection, the electroencephalograph used as a preamplifier should be considered as part of the equipment and subjected to overall verification.
