Scope
This standard proposes feasible technologies for air pollution prevention and control in the foundry industry. This standard can be used as a reference for environmental impact assessments of construction projects in foundry industry enterprises, the revision of national pollutant discharge standards, the management of pollution discharge permits, and the selection of pollution prevention and control technologies. This standard is not applicable to air pollution prevention and control in blast furnaces, sintering, pelletizing, and recycling non-ferrous metal smelting processes within foundry enterprises.
