Scope

This standard is applicable to the analysis of the sulfur content in gaseous hydrocarbons and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) of raw materials, intermediate products, and final products. The precision verification range of gaseous hydrocarbons is 1 mg/kg to 100 mg/kg, and that of LPG is 1 mg/kg to 196 mg/kg. This standard is suitable for analyzing the total volatile sulfur in LPG with a halogen mass fraction of less than 0.35%. However, it is not applicable to the detection of non-volatile sulfur-containing compounds.
