Scope
This standard specifies the general rules for the selection, installation, operation, and maintenance of turbine flowmeters based on the characteristics of turbine flowmeters and the nature of the measured liquids.
This standard applies to the petroleum industry, where various types of turbine flowmeters are used to measure the flow of different types of liquid hydrocarbons in different situations.
