GB/Z 43030-2023 Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear—Security aspects
Basic Information
Scope
This document applies to the main safety-related functions of switchgear and control equipment throughout their entire lifecycle. It applies to wired and wireless data communication methods and the physical accessibility of equipment within the limits of their environmental conditions.
This document aims to raise awareness of safety aspects and provide guidance and requirements for reasonable countermeasures to reduce risk vulnerabilities.
This document primarily focuses on potential risk vulnerabilities leading to:
——Unintended operation of switchgear, control equipment, or sensors, which may result in dangerous situations;
——Failure of protective functions (overcurrent, ground leakage current, etc.).
This document does not include safety requirements for information technology (IT) and industrial automation and control systems (IACS). It is only intended to guide the use of appropriate safety countermeasures in switchgear and control equipment, which are derived from the basic safety publication ISO/IEC 27001 and the common safety publication IEC 62443 (all parts).
As a product safety publication, this document follows IEC Guide 120 and includes a typical use case study given in Appendix B.
