Scope

This standard specifies a method for measuring the resistance of fabrics to the penetration of spray water with a certain impact intensity, and predicting their resistance to rainwater penetration by measuring the resistance of fabrics to spray water penetration. This method can also test fabrics under the action of spray water with different impact intensities and draw a complete fabric anti-penetration curve.
This standard is applicable to various textile fabrics that have undergone or not undergone waterproof (or water-repellent) finishing, and is particularly suitable for fabrics with strong waterproof performance.
