Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of sliding supports for building doors and windows. This standard is applicable to sliding supports for external opening top-hung windows with a window sash opening distance not exceeding 300 mm, and sliding supports for external opening flat windows with a window sash width not exceeding 570 mm.
