Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, labeling and requirements, and corresponding test methods for fertilizers and soil conditioners containing medium and trace elements. This standard applies to solid fertilizers and soil conditioners containing one or more medium and trace elements, which are not regulated by national or industry standards. These include: (1) fertilizers containing one macronutrient and one or more medium and trace elements; (2) fertilizers containing only medium and trace elements; (3) soil conditioners containing medium and trace elements. This standard does not apply to water-soluble fertilizers containing medium and trace elements.
