Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for power-operated window ventilators for household and similar purposes.
This standard applies to the relevant requirements of non-power-driven natural window ventilators.
This standard does not apply to window-type exhaust fans, partition-type exhaust fans, and exhaust fans connected to air ducts.
The safety requirements for power-operated window ventilators contained in this standard shall comply with the relevant provisions of Tables 4 and 5 of this standard.
