Scope
This document specifies the normative reference documents, terms and definitions, basic provisions, routes, roadbeds and pavements, bridges and culverts, tunnels, road intersections, traffic engineering and facilities along the route, engineering geological surveys, and project cost for the design of rural roads in Shanxi Province. This document is applicable to the new construction and reconstruction of county roads, township roads, and village roads throughout the province. Rural roads involved in industrial parks may be implemented in accordance with this document.
