Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificates, and contract (or order form) contents for molybdenum targets used in sputtering coating.
This standard applies to molybdenum targets manufactured by powder metallurgy sintering methods and post-sintering pressure processing methods. These targets are mainly used in industries such as photovoltaic solar panels, flat panel displays, and touchscreen panels manufacturing.
