Scope
This guidance technical document specifies the electromagnetic interference phenomenon of voltage sags and short-term interruptions, involving the sources of interference, its impact, remedial measures, measurement methods, and measurement results (applicable within this scope). It mainly discusses the phenomena observed on the lines of public power supply systems and the impact on electronic devices that receive energy from the system.
"Voltage drop" is a synonym for the phenomenon of voltage sags.
