Scope

This standard provides the basic principles, basis, and methods for evaluating the detergency, whiteness retention, water consumption, and water-saving performance of laundry detergents used for simulating household washing methods under laboratory conditions. It also specifies the necessary conditions. This standard applies to all types of laundry detergents (excluding soap products) that use water as the washing solution.
