Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, instruments and reagents used, measurement methods and procedures, result analysis, and test report content for measuring the amorphous carbon content in multi-walled carbon nanotubes using thermogravimetric analysis under a carbon dioxide atmosphere. This standard applies to multi-walled carbon nanotubes obtained by chemical vapor deposition with a metal oxide content of less than 10%. Multi-walled carbon nanotubes obtained by other preparation methods can refer to this method for guidance.
