This standard applies to the production, inspection, and use of high-density polyethylene silicone core plastic pipes for underground communication on highways. Porous composite high-density polyethylene plastic pipes can be used as a reference. This standard does not apply to protective pipes for communication optical cables and power cables that are directly exposed to sunlight outdoors.
