Scope
This standard specifies the stacking requirements in the kiln drying of sawn timber, moisture content test boards, recommended benchmarks, drying process rules, quality inspection, and the processing time of sawn timber in kilns.
This standard is applicable to conventional sawn timber drying using wet air, furnace gas-wet air, and atmospheric pressure superheated steam as the medium.
