Scope

This standard stipulates the basic principles for the design and production of pesticide product labels, the basic content that should be marked on the labels, and other requirements. This standard applies to the design and production of labels for commercial pesticide products (intended for sale, including imports). This standard does not apply to the design and production of labels for exported pesticides, as well as genetically modified crops and biological pest control products that fall under the scope of pesticide management.
