Scope

Scope: This document establishes the terminology and definitions of Fanglin horseshoe seed, production environment, variety selection, seedling cultivation and seedling management, field management, pest and disease control, harvesting, production archives, and product quality traceability. This document is applicable to the production of Fanglin horseshoe seed in Pinggui District of Hezhou City, Guangxi Province. Main Technical Content: 3.1 Fanglin Horshoe Seed. Fanglin, also known as horseshoe, is produced within the scope of Chapter 4, with a spherical tuberous root, a thick top bud, a slightly concave navel, a shiny skin, tender flesh, sweet and juicy taste, and low residual sugar after fresh consumption, making it a relatively durable horseshoe product. 3.2 Fanglin Horshoe Detoxified Tissue Culture Seedlings. High-quality Fanglin varieties are selected, and the stem tips of the tuberous roots are cultured in vitro under sterile conditions through tissue culture methods, induction, differentiation, and rooting techniques to produce test-tube seedlings through rapid propagation. 3.3 High Fruit Yield refers to the proportion of Fanglin products with a single tuber weighing 30g, a cross-section diameter of 4cm, and a tuber height of 2.5cm or more. 4 Production Environment 4.1 The specific cultivation area of Fanglin horseshoe is between 111°05′E and 112°03′E, and 23°39′N to 25°09′N. The site should be far from industrial and mining enterprises (within 5km), with loose topsoil, solid subsoil, a cultivation layer of about 20cm, sufficient water sources, convenient irrigation, and clean sandy loam paddy fields. 4.2 Cultivation bases should be reported to the Pinggui District Agricultural Product Quality and Safety Inspection Station and comply with relevant production requirements. 4.3 The production environment conditions should meet the requirements of NY/T 391 and comply with NY/T 1405 during the production process. 5 Variety Selection High
