Scope

This document provides a guide on how to measure the grain size of hard alloys using detection techniques such as optical or electron microscopy.
This document is applicable to WC/Co hard alloy sintered bodies (also known as hard alloys or metal ceramics) with WC as the main hard phase, and it is also suitable for measuring grain size and distribution using the line interception method.
This document mainly includes the following four aspects:
