Scope
This part of GB/T 23561 specifies the terms and definitions, main instruments and equipment, specimen specifications, test procedures, and data calculation involved in the determination of triaxial compression strength and deformation parameters of coal and rocks.
This part is applicable to the determination of strength and deformation parameters of coal and rocks under axially symmetric triaxial stress (σ1 > σ2 = σ3) conditions, which can be processed into standard specimens under laboratory conditions.
