Scope

This standard specifies the energy efficiency grade, energy efficiency limit value, target energy efficiency limit value, energy-saving evaluation value, and test methods for small and medium-sized three-phase asynchronous motors (hereinafter referred to as "motors"). This standard applies to motors powered by 50 Hz three-phase AC power with a voltage of 690 V or lower, with rated powers of Class 2 and Class 3 ranging from 0.55 kW to 315 kW, and rated powers of Class 1 ranging from 3 kW to 315 kW. The motors have a pole number of 2, 4, or 6, and are single-speed enclosed self-ventilated motors or general-purpose explosion-proof motors designed according to the N standard.
