Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for rice cookers (boxes) powered by electricity or boiler steam.
This standard applies to commercial single-box or multi-box electric or steam rice cookers (hereinafter referred to as rice cookers).
This standard does not apply to: portable household rice cookers, rice cookers intended for use in special environmental conditions (such as corrosive environments, environments prone to explosions, or high-altitude plateau environments with an altitude of over 2,000 m), outdoor rice cookers, etc.
