Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. of self-service terminals (hereinafter referred to as self-service terminals).
This standard applies to self-service terminals used for card sales, ticket sales, merchandise sales, payment, recharge, bill/detailed statement/invoice printing, passbook supplementation, digital photo printing, and text and audio/video information release and inquiry, etc. (excluding special self-service terminals such as those used by the disabled). It provides a basis for the formulation of specific product specifications.
