Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for environmentally conscious design of household or commercial information and communication technology (ICT) and consumer electronics (CE) products.
This standard applies to terminal products (hereinafter referred to as "products") of household or commercial information and communication technology (ICT) and consumer electronics (CE) with a rated voltage not exceeding 1000 V, and also applies to components.
This standard adopts the product design principles of ISO/TR 14062, but does not include its processes.
This standard only includes guidelines directly related to the environmental performance of products, and does not include guidelines on safety (including electromagnetic fields), ergonomics, and electromagnetic compatibility.
