Scope

This standard specifies three methods for determining the anti-fogging properties of plastic films, namely: the cold fog method, the rapid hot fog method, and the water bath hot fog method.
This standard is applicable to the determination of the anti-fogging properties of transparent plastic films (sheets).
Generally, the cold fog method specified in this standard is suitable for packaging below the dew point, while the rapid hot fog method and the water bath hot fog method are suitable for packaging above the dew point.
