Scope

This document specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, labeling, and accompanying documents, packaging, transportation, and storage for solventless polyurethane resins used in garment synthetic leather. This document applies to two-component solventless polyurethane resins for garment synthetic leather, which are composed of polyols mixtures and isocyanate prepolymers, as well as to one-component solventless polyurethane resins for garment synthetic leather, which are formed by chemical reactions and physical mixing of raw and auxiliary materials such as isocyanates, polyols, and additives.
